Smith. one finger rises slowly and poises uncertainly for a moment over a key then plunges madly downward, slips off the side and into the space between the rows The owner of the finger, a typing Istudent, with some embarrassment extricates the finger and with great determination continues, rapidly gaining confidence, skill and speed. The teacher who takes these uncertain fingers in hand and trains them to maneuver with skill and confidence over the keyboards and conducts them with efficiency through the manipulations of various other business machines has sent many of her students into the business world to delight their employers with the great efficiency and skill which they acquired under the very excellent instruction of a very excellent instructor, Mrs, Irene Sikkenga, to whom we, the staff of the 1957 Vikings' Echo, dedicate our annual. . , X ADMINISTRATICDN AND FACULTY , .
