Living in Bethlehem Pennsylvania members of the yearbook stott were able to talk personally with her, During the interview they discovered that she is a sociology major at Pennsylvania State University and after taking supplementary courses at Lehigh University this summer she will be graduated. Starting with the title of Miss Lehigh Valley Miss Samley went on to be crowned Miss Pennsylvania at West Chester. This year she participated in the selection of the 1960 Miss Q the Senior Farewell Ray named the nine candidates and then presented Carol Lukish as queen Her escort is John Bandle senior class president Lehigh Valley as iudge for the contest.
