Education is not a gift from the faculty At last the long awaited moment has arrived the mad rush is on with famished students filling the cafeteria and crowding Kenny's to capacity as a hamburger and coke over here . . . rises over the din of the latest gossip. Slowly the day is drawing to an end only two classes thoughts, drift to homework or a music lesson or a game or perhaps a date. However, our portrait would not be complete without the Student Council meeting to discuss prob- lems big and small and govern these very scenes iust witnessed. With the conclusion of a typical day at Whitehall such as this we have contributed our own special touches to these stately halls where our pleasant memories of by-gone days .. exempli- fied today . . . will linger. Checking on the absentees of the day is routine work for Mr. Roth, Attendance Officer. Here, in a familiar pose, he calls parents to verify a student's illness. As students pass in the hall everyone realizes the need for a new school. The crowded halls and stairways cause coniestion but the Traffic Com- mission does its best to see that everything runs smoothly. at is ...s 9' ff. Whitehall has two of the most modern shops in the Lehigh Valley. Under the instruction of Mr. Hess and Mr. Grammes the boys receive practical experience for the work they plan to do after graduation.
