MR. RUSH W. SILER Principal of White Station High School Principalis Message There is a statement I learned in a high school English class that has been a great help to me. I would like to pass it on to you because it has a direct application to education. 4'Heights of great men reached and kept were not attained by the night. There is no royal road to success or a good education. Both are earned by hard work. You may have a high I.Q. but if you do not apply yourself you will still remain ignorant. I would like to see the pupils of White Station adopt a philosophy of how much can you attain, rather than how little can you do and get by. You owe it to your- self, your family. and your community to apply yourself in such a manner while you are getting your education that you will be an asset rather than a liability to the community in which you live. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Annual Staff for the out- standing work you have done in recording the events of this school year.
