King Ole Johnson and Queen Kari Kaelin were chosen on Coronation night, Oct. 21, to preside over their Royal Homecoming Court consisting of Kelly Boyle, Carol Blan- usa, Jeff Papenbrock, Candy Ford, Vicki Chenaur, Bill Ratliff, Patty Thurston, and Artie Gallagher. M.C.’s for the evening were Sheila Loomis and Carl Hirschel. Gene Rob- ertson, from the class of ’58, was the guest speaker. The excitement of Homecoming week was pushed to fever pitch when, on Friday night, the White River Hornets walked all over the State’s 3rd ranked team, the North Mason Bulldogs, 35-15. The Bulldogs were previously un- defeated in 24 games before meeting up with the White River Hornets. On Saturday night, Stranger provided the music for the Homecoming dance held at Longacres, in Renton.
