Ski Club Best Snow In Years The Club focused on overnight skiing trips. Best snow in years fell on our skiers. These ski club members sold wallets and suckers this years. They sold hay over the summer and had a dance during the year. The many fundraisers were brought about be- cause of a trip to Schweitzer, Idaho. This trip was the BEST for all the skiers that went. Key Club Opens The Door To A Happy Community Row I: J. Smith, vice president; M. Terlouw, president; M. Thompson, vice president; Row 2: G. Maris, Lt. governor; A. Thompson, treasurer; D. Hill, secretary. Key Club is a coed service club spon- sored by the Buckley Kiwanis Club. Ac- tivities of the club serve the school and community. The last district conven- tion showed that White River has be- come a top club in the Pacific North- west, when they won more awards than any other club. This year’s theme is “Pursue Tomor- row’s Potential.” The club was active in promoting traffic safety at White River this year in response to recent tragic accidents involving our students. They also were active in following through on last year’s youth Forum Day by spon- soring films and seminars which pro- mote stronger family life. 21
