Not pictured-M. Marzolf and D. Marzolf. Drill Team Flags And Rifles Entertain White River. The 1981-82 Andromeda (Drill Team Color- guard) experienced a busy year. They participated in four half-time shows at home football games, two half-time shows at home basketball games, one parade, and 10 Colorguard competitions. They sponsored one equipment clinic and one color- guard competition during the year. During this year Andromeda included more sen- iors than ever before. They also acquired Craig Goegebuer at rifle in the colorguard unit. They had various fund raisers throughout the year. The team sold buttons, had a swap meet, sold crystal, Tupperware, and Watkin products. Tracy Erickson led the unit through a successful year as captain; Carol Streepy aided Tracy as co- captain; Marsha Marzolf showed her stuff as stu- dent council representative; and Dawn Neal kept up the books as secretary-treasurer. They also ad- ded a flag section leader, Noreen Tropple, and a rifle section leader, Tracey Erickson. Mr. Boyko, the advisor, said “It’s really gratifying to work with an excited group of young people with var- ious backgrounds and experiences and have them coalesce into an entertaining, cohesive unit.” 13 Mr. Boyko, advisor.

Hartley. Pep Club —Pep Club Cheers On Hornet Athletics, Organizes Spirit Week, Helps the Elderly During 1981-1982 Pep Club was extremely busy. While they aided the cheerleaders in cheering on the Hornet athletics, they also organized a zany spirit week that lead to the planning of Homecoming. The Pep Club members and officers also helped the elderly through decorating for a senior citizen’s dance. The Pep Club served the school through the selling of tickets, programs, and popcorn at home games. The Pep Club officers were headed by a continuously busy crew: Lorraine Porter, President; Caren Johnson, Vice-president; Marnita Grader, secretary; Janis Mullig, treasurer; and Tris Berg, points chairman.
