CHOIR SMALL BUT SELECT Thirty selected students sang this year in the White River High School Choir. Performances were scheduled throughout the year at school assemblies, Bethesda Manor in Enumclaw, The Soldiers Home in Orting, a Kewanis Banquet, and the Seamount League Choral Festival at Fife High School. The Girls' Chours, Boys' Chorus, and groups from the Middle School sang with the Choir at the Christmas and Spring Concerts. It has become tradition for the choir to sing at the Senior Service and for Seniors from the choir to sing at Graduation. Cindy Straley served as President and Patti Mellish Treasurer this year. Cindy Straley and John Hurley were selected by audition to sing in the All-State Chorus at the Washington Music Education Convention in Richland In March.
