Miss Corrine Agnew directed the play, which was cen- tered around two hillbilly brothers who were not on speaking terms. That is. until an unexpected stranger showed up on the scene. tStuJents jCLea tScholastically cf This year Honor Society had a total of 47 members. There were 16 seniors, 17 juniors and 14 sophomores. Honor Society aims to promote higher scholastic stand- ings in which any students who maintain a B average or above are eligible. It also aims to develop students socially. The new members were initiated at an annual party held at the home of our ambitious advisor, Mrs. Elison. and then again at school the following day. An efficient President, Dave Jones, who was assisted by Vice President Ed Demko and Secretary Charlotte Dieringer, all contributed very much to help make the year a success. Orriss, M. Coviezel. Among other activities the Honor Society members served refreshments in the library after the Homecoming assembly. They also presented a one-act play for the Christmas assembly, sponsored a sock dance after a foot- ball game and put on a skit at a pep assembly.
