It is our aim ro make this T'Kopechuck your own personal memory book, for you to keep and cherish. In its binding pages lie pictures and stories which reflect your bountiful school days that you will forever treasure. This is the 50th year that an annual has been published for the students at Buckley: therefore, making this our ‘ Anniversary book. This year's editor. Yvonne Anderson, and assistant editor. Patsy Baker, have put forth much thought and effort to produce an attractive and different yearbook with new Y. ANDERSON Editor layouts and better typing construction. To capture and depict any exciting or unusual happenings in sports, classrooms, extra-curricular activities, and all social events, was the job of the shutterbugs. (photo- graphers) . who were constantly on their toes. Mr. Boehlke. the advisor, has given much of his time, advice and help in assisting the staff with the planning of the T'Kopechuck. Student Body Secretory and DAVE EL ISON, Vice-President “I believe that the Student Council's hardest job has been to set a good example for the students and other organizations. said Betty Olesrud. S. B. A. President. Dave Elison. Vice President and Janice Poutt. Secretary, ably assisted the President in many activities held this year. To get a Student Council Fund started, a back-to-school dance was held the first week of school, which was a huge success. An activity ticket sales contest was held with the class sell- ing the most tickets choosing a King and Queen for the Annual. The Queen Contest at the band carnival was sponsored by the B. O. C. with proceeds going to buy the White River Banner. Among other activities to make this year a success, dance sessions were started with the classes taking turns during activity period, a charter was given to the Pep Club and the Lettermen's Club President was voted in as a new member. 3 Cornets Off to f iess To keep our school library in neat order is one of the duties of our seventeen student librarians. They also type and file catalogue cards, check books and magazines in and out of the library, collect fines on books that are over-due. They keep the books and magazines in order which helps our Faculty Librarian. Mrs. Elison. Our library is made very attractive by the art displays that the students arrange. LIBRARIANS FIRST ROW: S. Alright, let's roll 'em. Get those names correct. Pete, get those cartoons in. were some of the comments heard coming from Mr. Boelbkes journalism class. Kaye Hreha and Karen Bainton. work- ing together as editor and assistant editor, had a very capable staff cooperating with them. Getting stories in on time, making up the page layouts, proofreading and sell- ing the Hornet were some of the many things to be done, and with patience and assistance from Mr. Boelhkc. advisor, they were done.
