Our Junior Class assembly was one of the best ever put on by any class. Another of our projects was the Junior Prom, in which we carried out the theme of an Old Dutch Garden and this also was very successful. ln our Class we have several popular sportsmen, honor society members, and G. A, A. girls. And with our President, John Bishop, our Vice President, Beverly Weber, and our Secretary, Barbara Hendrickson, we have all done our very best to make ours a good class. Eugene Bumgardner would like to leave his old chev' to Earl Jameson but he thinks he had better take it with him. Joy Bogle bestows upon Walter Swift her ability to find an answer for everything. C George Clogston leaves his operatic voice to float through the halls of dear old B. H. S. Jim Collins will leave all the sleep he gets in second period study to Lora Allman. Harry Conner leaves all his love to anyone who wants it. Gwendolyn Derby won't leave anything to anybody. John Doherty bestows upon Fred Maris his famous speeches and jokes. Evelyn Franich will give her finished physics assignments to Betty Twitchell. Joanne Fotheringil said she would leave her sewing skill to Barbara Kohl. Clara Jo Fox leaves her fancy printing to Lawrence Bakkee. Leoda Gallion wills her cherry pie championship to Margie Winegar. Betty Hallett gives her smooth dancing steps to Joan Poch. Ed Harris leaves his talent for speeding to anyone who can get away with it. Arlo Hendrickson says he will have to leave his blande Sophomore but the boys better stay away from her. Marianne Holyan will give Miss Alford's friendship to Janis Gall for one year. Leslie Irons leaves his knack for housekeeping to Bugs Warner. Clifford Jones likes to leave his high school honors to anyone who can live up to them Bob Laffey will give his big smile to Coach Davis. Bud Maggs wills his bashfulness to Glen Nunnally. Anna Marie Mahlen leaves her curly hair to Eino Kuki. Loreen Martin leaves her father's jeep for her little sister to drive around in. Pat McAbee will take everything she's got with her. John Miller will give his ability for getting into trouble to Spud Callahan. Shirley Nielson will leave her fine yell leading to next year's yell queen. Janis Peoples leaves her nicknames to whoever gave them to her. Delorees Pete will give her blush to anyone who can control it. Wilma Piersall takes her love for Alaska with her because no one else could get it. Shirley Poch leaves her annual headaches to Juanita Tracy. Larry Reed wills his job at White Front to Bob Cummings. Louise Rinell leaves her gray matter to her sister who already had plenty. Virginia Rcdia will leave her dress form to next year's home ec. class. Mickey Romes refuses to leave Umatilla Hosh Kosh to anyone. Duane Rowe gives her love for horses to Barbara Rose. Bill Smith leaves a few cartoons to next year's Bucklonian staff. Donna Strand wills her haunting strains of laughter to the teachers. Maxine Tracy leaves her office job to next year's office girl. Wilma Vail leaves her old tardy slips to Tom Schmidt. John Whitemarsh already gave his senior ring to Zelma and he wants to keep everything else he has. Dave Whitmore will give his love for whistling to some lone wolf. Two boys from our class were very outstanding in sports: Chuck Hodder and George Blanusa, both being chosen for all conference. Also, we have ten members who belong to the honor society, The main class activity of the year was the Sophomore Hop which was given in November and had as its theme Turkey in the Straw and was a great success. The committees were chosen by our president Chuck Hodder, who was assisted by our vice-president Joan Latfey, secretary Gary Chalberg, and our representative Glen Nunnally, with the advice of Mr. Davis, our class advisor. I All in all we feel justly proud of our class.
