She majored in cheese slicing with a knife and minored in cutting cheese with a scoop. Next year she plans to teach How to slice cheese on a snowy day in the lunch- room and not get caught by Mr. Robertson. Very early (10 A.M.) on a cold and snowy Saturday morning in February, Mrs. Johnson crept around Horseshoe Curve wearing her son's long-johns and her husband's socks to keep her body warm. After what seemed days, she reached her destination - W. P.H.S. There she was met by her two loyal and faithful servants - Carolyn and Bob- by. As all worked diligently on the final copy of the Yearbook, the snow piled higher and higher and stomachs got emptier and emptier. That's when it happened! A voice out of nowhere said, There's cheese and crackers in the lunchroom. Not hard to con- vince, Mrs. J. was off, followed by her two trusted servants. Hark! said she. Cheese. But - not one knife was in sight. Did that stop her? No! With deft, deli- cate fingers, Mrs. Cheese Slicer of 1971 picked up the scoop, sliced the cheese, and looked on amazedly as it fell into the tray in small ribbons. You know, that cheese had been sliced all the time in the opposite direction.
