Last Will And Testament We, the Senior Class of 1956, supposedly being of sound mind and body, realizing that our school days are numbered, hereby declare this our last will and testament. To our teachers who have struggled so valiantly and so long in our behalf, we leave our appreciation for everything they have done for us. To Mr. Reece, we leave our permission to scallop the living daylights out of our precious offspring when they enter school. To Miss Simpson, we leave our undying gratitude for the work done on this annual. A pub¬ lication of all our failures and successes. To the school, we leave the peace and quiet our absence will bring. To the Juniors, we leave the responsibility of publishing the 1957 Plainsman. To the Sophomores, we leave our ability to skip class without being caught, especially the girls. To the Freshmen, we leave the confusion of high school. Have courage, we survived. To each of the Juniors, we leave these individual characteristics of the seniors: Gilbert Huffman leaves to Alvin Scott all his good grades. Donald Marshall will his desire to sleep in History Class to Ann Badgett. Norma Nichols wills her ability to drive a school bus to Betty Sue Whitt. Dixie Schmidt leaves her quietness to Ernestine Marshall. Thomas Brintle leaves his basketball ability to Thamer Cox. Gladys Hicks leaves her love for good food to Brenda Smith. Bill Stewart wills his tactful ways to Sammy Brintle. Eugene Simmons wills his shyness to Patsy Creed. Sara Robertson leaves her ability to drive a car to Frances Brintle. J. Glen Nichols leaves her flirtatious ways to Jimmy Snow. Sybil S. Inman leaves her position on the annual staff toanyone in the Junior C lass who likes to work three periods a day cuttting stencils. Wade Venable wills his ability and desire to argue to Susan Nichols. Erline King leaves her ability to belong to all the clubs to Billie Jo George. Faye Brintle leaves her happy disposition to Carol Fletcher. June Badgett and P.C. Smith leave their studious ways to Monroe Riggs. Lonnie Draughn leaves all his good times in high school to Thomas Siske. David Cassell and Rodney Woodring leave, and if they leave anything worthwhile, it is fo be divided among the Juniors. Grady Coe leaves his ability to get out of work to Glenda Simpson. Daisy Peele leaves her self-styled romatic approaches to Betty Jean Dollyhigh. Rex Atkins and Herbert Badgett leave their laziness to Ronda Smith and Fox Atkins. I, Jesquer Atkins, leave my height to Barbara Hall. In witness hereof, we, the Senior Class of '56, do hereby sign and seal this our last will and testament on the seventeenth day of October, nineteen hundred, fifty-five. JESQUER ATKINS Class Testator
