has exercised all of its power in order to give you, the Class of 1 -T 1 ' , The Ozacle-Nineteen Hzzfzdred and Twenty-four make THE QRACLE a bigger and better annual. The Board 1 ?-T HE ORACLE Board of 1924 have done all in their power to 24, a permanent and noteworthy record of your high school activities. You will be the judges as to whether we have been successful in our efforts, and we sincerely hope that you will be pleased with thexwork we have done for you and VVhite Plains High School. THE GENERAL ORGANIZATION ' i HE General Organization, that factor of the School which binds us together as one, has lived creditably through its fifth year. I : Z . . It has undertaken no project that it has not successfully com- Z T: . . plered. Among the many projects supported by the General Organization during the 1923-24 year have been The Bohemian Girl, The Dance of the Curriculum, The School Play, not to mention other activities which have been very successful. One of the most important matters of policy accom- plished by the Organization this year was the establishment of the Blanket Ticket, a plan which was adopted after much deliberation. The Service League, under the General Organization, has become a significant factor in our school, it has helped in bringing all our school activities to a successful accomplishment. THE ORANGE AND BLACK TICKET i i I-IE Blanket Ticket is without a doubt the greatest achievement of the General Organization this year. The plan was first N proposed early in the fall of '23. Letters were sent to all ! ! parents asking their opinion of the plan. So many favorable answers were received that the plan was put into effect in the first part of December. The Orange and Black Ticket is simply a substitute for all our former single season tickets, subscriptions, and G. O. membership. The ticket is to be sold at the beginning of each year, and eliminates the many drives formerly needed for the sale of tickets, G. O. membership, and Orange subscriptions. VVe all appreciate what this plan means to the school and give our thanks to the General Organization for their splendid work.
