Several boys made first string foothall and basketball. l'pperelassmen at lastf The cup of success seemed to over- flow that year as How Fearless llarry Ilolger Saved the Ilome- stead, the expressive title of our stunt, won third place .... many athletes won letters .... The Otis twins were a eonstant dread of Lord Archibald Archi' hald in the Saturday Evening Ghost, a play to be remember- ed for its- entertainment. Enter- ing with competent steps into a dreamland roof garden, we trip- ped the light fantastic under a sky of hlue hm-sprinkled with radiant stars .... Yes, it was the Junior Promenade sponsored hy the varsatile class of 1938. Lollipops, lispings, baby cries were heard and enjoyed at the annual Junior Kid Dance, That year was topped by the Award Day Banquet in which many .luniors were honored . . . the end of a most successful year. After a rest we entered the home stretch of our high school career . . , the football season started with great promise as we defeated the overconfident Vegas team for the second time in our high school life, but our hopes were quenched hy the Falf lon defeat.
