Carol Martin was born in Sturgis and was graduated from Hillsdale High School. She attended Hillsdale College and Western Michigan University. Before coming to White Pigeon, Mrs. Martin taught in Dunedin, Florida, Coldwater and Reading, Michigan. Mrs. Martin began teaching at White Pigeon in 1965. She has taught seventh grade history and English Mr and Mrs. Martin were charter members of the Sturgis Civic Players for 12 years. In appreciation, we would like to say thank you for your dedication to White Pigeon students. 3

In Dedication To •••• Doris Slack was born in Kalamazoo and was graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. She attended college at Western Michigan University and did graduate work at Michigan State Unviersity. She came to White Pigeon in 1961.
