This in itself was not unusual, even though two of those students were. Those two people are no longer new students. They are Greetje Frankena and Carlos Coutinho, our foreign exchange students from The Netherlands and Brazil. White Pigeon students had been waiting with anticipation to greet these students. They came to the United States as part of the Youth For Understanding program. All the students of White Pigeon have enjoyed having them with us this past year and regret having them leave us. We hope that they will never forget the fun and excitement we all have shared together. We want to wish them the best of luck in the future. The White Pigeon High School yearbook staff would like to say, We've enjoyed getting to know you, Greetje and Carlos! 16
