F •i' a. y . vV w v’Awt'V tt FOREWORD Some regard school only as a preparation for life, but they are only partly right. It is life. It can be the happiest and most fruitful part of one's years if you only let it be. Within the varied activities of your school days are the opportunities to gain the things that we hold most dear--friendships, success, achievement, and knowledge. And at no future time will their attainment seem sweeter. Foolish is the one who fails to take advantage of today's opportunity thinking he will wait until tomorrow to begin. 60 POW WOW Published by the ANNUAL STAFF WHITE PIGEON COMMUNITY SCHOOL White Pigeon, Michigan CONTENTS Administ ration Seniors . . . Many people feel that the Varsity Club is only for the purpose of making money, and it is, but in a different way than most people expect. The Varsity Club purchases items that otherwise could not be obtained, such as a movie camera and projector, which helps the coach and players see what they have been doing wrong. The club also stands on the purpose of establishing sportsmanlike conduct between players, promote sports, honor varsity letters, and encourage scholastic endeaver. All in all the Varsity club is a wonderful club to be allowed to join. Everyone should try harder in all sports in order to obtain a Varsity letter. OFFICERS--P r e s i d e nt chard.
