Prowlers, disturbers, visitors, and strays-especiab ly cat-all come in for a share of Mr. Byrd's atten- A stitch in time or a Word to the wise either is all a part of the motherly Mrs. Criddle's day as she goes about h'er duties. From Smokey's magic workshop come fascinating things: gingerbread houses, windmills, log cabins, fairy palaces, and gentle words to wee folks-all perfumed with the essence of El Ropo No. 5.
