SENIORS MATILDA NUGENT General Wearing an engagement ring on her finger and her heart on her sleeve is Tillie, who serves delicious tidbits in Home Ee. We 'll throw you our shoes at the wedding, Tillie, if you promise to throw them back. LOIS RHEA Scientific No one can get music out of those tympani like Tick, who is getting to be quite a professional amateur. The proud owner of a lovely alto voice in Chorus, she also is a lover of horses, but prefers a red con- vertible. She says it 's not so hard to ride and much gentler with horse power instead of horse sense. RUTH RICHARDSON Academic Mo is one of the popular girls of Knox Hi. With a Pepsodent smile, she's a cheerleader, drum majorette, alto, and one of the yearbook editors-all. No wonder people dream about her. WILLIAM RITTER Scientific Bill is the class Romeo after his lead in the play. He fairly keeps the rafters ringing in Chorus, and is well liked by all the students. CARL ROWE General Uhip, a quiet member of the class, has eyes only for a little sophomore. Ile's from Beaver and has that outdoor look which labels him as a son of the soil. ARTHUR SLAUGHENHAUPT Commercial Secretarial Slaughty joined our ranks in our Junior year and has proved to be a valuable asset. SENIORS LAMONTE CRAPE Academic Monte is our red-headed musician with the curls on top. Famous for his musical ability, this redhead excels in his studies, in Chorus, and especially in those P. O. D. arguments. LAVERNE HOOK General Vernie is our star athlete with an arm designed espeeially for swinging baseball bats. Good cook i11 the Home Ee. Department, too . . . will not answer Help Wanted ads! JACK KLINGLER General We think Pete is a little bashful, but he is always ready with a joke and can be found industriously at work in study hall catching up 011 a little shut-eye. How many winks are you averaging, Pete? I DONALD MCGUIRK General Known to his friends as Jerk, this dark-eyed Senior spends quite a bit of time with a little brownette from Turkey City. Could that be the reason why he talks to himself in English class? DOROTHY BARNETT Commercial Secretarial Dot, an outstanding student and one of the yearbook editors, is a fan of every hillbilly and cowboy program. Her favorite pastime is writing to Blaine Smith or Kenny Newton, and singing yodel-lady-de-0. LEE BARNETT Scientific Bush is a good-natured country boy who wants to enlist in the Air Corps.
