The club's purpose is to further interest in the language and customs of the ancient Roman civilization. Latin Club members are ranked according to the number ot, years they have studied Latin: Ordo Plebius, first year, Ordo Equester, second year, and Ordo'Senatorious, third and fourth years. The high- light of the year comes in the form of a Latin Club Banquet at the end Miss Margaret Grimes Spomor of the year. RE NURSES I Christine Robinson The Future Nurses, under the direction of Secretary Mrs. Mollfiseek to promote interest in nurs- ing as a career. As a Christmas project, the Future Nurses Club collected and distributed stuffed animals to the area hospitals. As a Sandra Harrold school project, the club had bake sales to Chaplain raise money for a wheel chair. PAN AMERICAN ST UDE T F ORU Senorita Imogene Berry Spomor 200 The Pan American Student Forum, under the direction of Miss Imogene Berry, is a service organization dedicated to help- ing others. As a service project, the club had money-raising project to buy socks for the children in an elementary school in Dallas. The club, along with other chapters in the Dallas area, participated in the Impact Project, which is a program to build a school in Peru. In April, the officers, along with a few other active members, attended the P.A.S.F. state-wide convention in Austin to exchange information concerning the Latin American countries.
