During their attendance the school was con- solidated into the White Cloud Rural Agricultural Schools. At the beginning of that same year, the following persons were elected to hold the class offices: President, Lois Fry: Vice President, Donna Richards: Secretary, Joyce Grabill: Treasurer, Rose Stanley: Student Council, Bruce Johnson and Sally Shepherd. In the spring of their Sophomore year they ordered their class rings and received them in the fall of their Junior year. The persons elected as officers for the Sophomore class were: President, Earl Ronning: Richards: Secretary, Lois Fry: Treasurer, Mark Putz: Bitson and Rose Stanley: Class Sponsor, Elmer Kangas. Next came the Junior year long to be remembered by its interesting and exciting events. First of all came who were: President, Mark Putz: Vice President, Donna Douglas Bitson: Johnson: Class fio,n in April, Sally Shepherd, Johnson, Bernice Frantz, Anna Belle Lindquist, Orrie Ebenstien, Joyce Grabill, Joe Grabill, Beverly Nelson, and Charles Foster A f'tting climax for t e social year was the Junior Senior Banquet and Prom, The main event of the first half of our Steps Out,' which was presented December 2, the play were, Bruce Johnson, Sally Shepherd, Rose Stanley, Beverly Nelson, Joyce Grabill, Joe Grab ll, Bernice Frantz, Foster, Lyle Jilliams, Mary LeRoy, 'cis Fry, Chester Clary, and Stanley Romans Other members made this play possible by selling tickets, prompting, stage setting, printing and distributing the handbills and posters The Senior pictures were taken by Moyer and Moyer of Traverse City, in October and were received the week before Christmas Vacation in December The musiciams of the Senior class are, Joan Johnson, Lois Thompson, Douglas Bitson, Orrie Ebenstein, Charles Foster francis Fetterley, Bruce Johnson, Lyle Williams, Mark Putz There are also quite a few membels in tne Mixed Chorus and Girls Glee Club Those people are, Lois Fry, Bernice FIBWLZ Donna Richards, Joyce Grabill, Sally Shepherd, Anna Belle Lindquist Eloise Davis, Bruce Johnson, Stanley Romans, Orrie Ebenstein, Douglas Bitson, Lyle Jilliams, Louise McAnallen The White Cloud Indians also felt tne effect of the graduation when the following Seniors left their ranks Charles Foster, Bruce Johnson, Jeffery Stokes, William Moore, Mark Putz, Lyle fill'ams, Earl Ronning, William Richards The Seniors decided in a class meeting that they would go to Niagara Falls for their Senior trip and the trip was planned for June 6,7,8, after graduation. No plans have yet been made for Baccalaureate, Claes Night or Commencement. The class motto for this year is, Uwe build tne ladder by which we rise The class flower is the White Carnation The colors are Maroon and vhlte Vice President, Donna Student Council, Douglas members of the class for the election of officers, Richards: Secretary, Treasurer, Joyce Grabill: Student Council, Lois Fry and Bruce Sponsor, Alice Branch. Nest came the play, nSeventeen is Terri- l948.
