A. , Ohio State White Bea r offers students three branches of science: biology, chemistry, and physics. Biology students study the life processes of plants and animals. Chem-Study is a new method of lab- oratory work being applied in chemistry classes this year. It encourages individ- ualwork in the laboratory and scientific thinking. In physics students are taught the principles and laws governing the physical aspects of our environment. Another course, natural and applied science, includes the basic concepts of both chemistry and physics, with empha s i s on application rather than mathematical proof.
