l-lighfSchoolQStudents Have A Full Day Six-hundred and thirty-tivo students represent the enrollment in the junior-senior high school. Of the-se about 225 come by bus, four supplied by the XVhite Bear School District and one each sup- plied by Huao and Iiirclivood. These six buses brin: pupils from as far as 2l miles, and travel in the course ot' at year a distance one and a half times around the world. Some of the buses make nrore than one trip. XX'ith more uirls than boys in every class except the fvth, tht- total is :IDX boys and 33-1 uirls, Of the total number, 261 are in junior hizh school and 3Tl are in senior high school. Directed by 28 etlicient faculty members, these students spend the morning hours from 8 to 12 and the afternoon from l to 3:20 in classes or study halls. Twenty minutes of the afternoon per- iod is devoted daily to committee meetings, guidance, or movinu pictures of literary, scientific, or his- torical interest. Assembly progrz' ms of a varied nature, too, are presented on the average every two weeks. One hour is set apart every week for religious instructions when ninth grade students who so desire may receive such instruction through the church of their choice. Seventy-five pupils take ad- vantage of this training. After school hours for many are devoted to various extra-curricular activities especially ath- letics, school news, :ind the annual. AIR.
