Under his guidance the high school has ,grown materially in size, physical equip- ment, and scope of courses offered and. as a result, in usefulness to the student and to the community. Ever on the alert for new ideas and willing to adopt those which are for the best interests of the school, he has won the respect of faculty and students alike by his broadmindedness and forward-looking attitude. As a champion of the cause of education, he has been influential in state and dis- trict as well as in local organizations. But his chief concern is for students as individuals, a devotion growing out of a genuine interest in boys and girls.
