With a bit of enthusiasm you'll be ready for a game. Athletic Association Officers: C. Needham, P. Cooke, P. Miller and D. Hastings, President. Athletic Association Although facilities were limited, the Athletic Association tried to provide Wheelock girls with frequent opportunities for recreation this year. During the fall, Wheelock was invited to the Wellesley Hockey Play Day, which was given for a group of colleges in the Boston area. The group had a most active year or- ganizing many excursions, some of which were held at a near- by swimming pool, ice-skating rink, and bowling alley. Mrs. Jean Marsh served as the advisor for this organization, which greatly appreciated her guidance. 81
