Robbins. 64 Senate Developing better communication within the student body was the main concern of the Senate this year. Such activities as the all-college cookout, “Winter Week End,” the open Senate meetings and the “Senate Sees” helped to achieve this purpose. The Senate welcomed and worked on suggestions from the student body. Senate members encouraged the students to participate in the activities of the college and to take advantage of the opportunities offered them by the faculty, administration, and community. “Rare or well done?”

2 ene Class Council The Class Council consists of the presidents of the four classes. The Senior Class President, Barbara Gibson, acts as chairman of the council. Carol Jeffers from the Junior Class represents Class Council in the Senate and Carolyn Nichols, a sophomore, goes to College Council. The group meets occasionally to discuss important college matters in relation to the classes. The major purpose of the Council is to in- sure inter-class communication. Class Council: C. Jeffers, C.
