Our smokers and newly decorated callers’ room, busy with activity, are the places in which friendliness and enthusiasm dwell. One of the dorm’s highlights is our Wassail, a pre-Christmas party for the girls of Riverway and the faculty. There are also mixers, impromptu dorm parties, and the Raverlys for entertain- ment throughout the year. The atmosphere is enhanced by our housemother, Mrs. Rollins, AL ‘ “Ticklish, Santa?” who is highly respected by the girls. Mrs. Grayce Rollins House Council: Floor: N. Bonner, C. Cooper, J. Kuehn, N. Peabody West Peabody West has thoroughly enjoyed its second year, and we attribute much of our success to our new house mother, Mrs. Sayles. Housing 120 girls, West is best typified by floor parties, pink washers, private extensions and elevator rides. The cooperation and congeniality of the girls, however, is what West is best known for ... we hope! eee “Why doesn’t someone turn it on?” Mrs. Eleanor Norton Sayles s e a House Council: Seated: M.
