98 Peabody East With the support and guidance of Mrs. Roberts, Peabody East has been aiming to achieve a spirit of unity within itself as well as with neighboring Peabody West. Group gatherings at tea time, house meetings and dormitory sings, together with the meaningful tra- ditions of Freshmen Welcome Week and Christmas festivities foster friendly relations. Each floor in East also has its individual goals which include pierced ears, Wheelock nightshirts, guitars, quiet seniors, and nightly bridge. With hard work and play, this year was a successful one. “T haven’t even started my Senior Study yet!” Riverway Riverway House is the college home of ninety girls. Our smokers and newly decorated callers’ room, busy with activity, are the places in which friendliness and enthusiasm dwell. One of the dorm’s highlights is our Wassail, a pre-Christmas party for the girls of Riverway and the faculty. There are also mixers, impromptu dorm parties, and the Raverlys for entertain- ment throughout the year. The atmosphere is enhanced by our housemother, Mrs. Rollins, AL ‘ “Ticklish, Santa?” who is highly respected by the girls. Mrs. Grayce Rollins House Council: Floor: N. Bonner, C. Cooper, J. Kuehn, N.
