34052 SOPHOMORE CLAQQ well, here we are the Sophonore Class and it's our last year as underclassnen C hewl Ve elected for our fir t serester officers President, Patricia Shand Vice Pres , Tom Pickering, Secretary, Carrie Bell Treasurer, Herbie Canberg Class Rep ,Betty Volberdin Sgt of Nrms, Delmer Damon Our class adviser is Miss Elcy Nalker The sec nd sexe ter officer were as follows President France Francis Vice Pres ,lerbie Camberg secretary, Carrie Bell Treas rer, anda Haskell Class Rep , Tom Pickerin Sgt of Arms, Jimmie Reynolds During the 5ear,the class gave two very successful sales Student Body and Faculty Herbie Camberg, Tom Pickering,J1m 1e Reynolds,and Larry Fox turned out for football Herbie Camberg, Tom Pickering, Jimmie leyn los, and Delmer Damon turned out for basketball Jimmie was one of the main five we look forward to continuing success and earning more laurels next year FRESHMAN CLASS On Seotenber 4, l945, twelve frightened little rookies stumbled up the steps of Wheeler High They were Jack Holt, Jasper Wilmarth, Willis Hight Donnalee Coleman, Helen Burdick, Leonard Hubbard, Rilda Bam ford, Beverly White, Gloria DeBorde, Bill Shade, Dorothy Curtis, Howard Peterson, and Bob Loveall They elected for class officers President Donnalee Cole Vice President Dorothy Curtis Secretary Helen Burd lck Tre su er Benerly rite, Student Body Rep Bob Loveall Class Advl er liss Rachel Jones howard Peterson moved to hehalem in October, and Rilda Bamford left for Portland in December Patsie La Mar entered Joe Shlel started school in January, and in March Betty Pool joined the class Officers were elected for second emester President Helen Burdick, Vice President Jack Holt Secretary Gloria DeBorde, Treasurer Beverly Jhite and student Body Repre sentative Jasper Wilmarth On Marcl 15, 1946, they gave a successful St Patrick's Day Party The class had representatives in football and basketball They were as follows Jack Holt, Bob Loveall, and Willis Hight CM.
