VALERIE ANNE GIACHELLO Val Business As a member of our class since first grade, Kathy's friendly manner has made her an amiable classmate. Her varied interests include ice skating, dancing, and swimming. She was a member of the Ski Club in her Junior year and a Chorus member in both her junior and senior years. After graduation Kathy plans to be an office receptionist. We sincerely hope that she will attain her highest goals. At the beginning of her freshman year, Valerie left Waterford High School and began her high school years at Wheeler. She has helped our class activities tremendously, especially in the line of refreshments. After graduation Valerie plans to attend college, and with her sincere and friendly attitude she is sure to gain happiness and success in furthering her education. Jane joined our class in the fifth grade when she moved here from Stonington, Connecticut. Her quiet appearance hides an enthusiastic nature which she displays by her participation in both class activities and school organizations. Jane was a member of chorus in her junior and senior years and in her junior year she belonged to the Ski Club. Whatever Jane plans for the future, we're sure she will be successful. JANE ELIZABETH FARRAR jane College Since he moved from Westerly, Rhode Island to North Stonington in the ninth grade, Randy has been popular throughout Wheeler. During the past four years he has held many high positions in both class and sports activities. Randy has helped to make many of our school and class activities successful. ROGER ARNOLD GOULD JR. ‘Spoolie General Lively Debbie always brightened up our class with her bubbling spirit. Even though she is small in stature, she lets us know that she has many opinions to be heard. She shows her school spirit by being at ail of our dances, basketball games, and pep rallies. This enthusiasm will carry Debbie forward in her hairdressing career and all of her future activities. Roger, one of our quieter classmates. has proven to be an asset to our class. He and his pick-up truck have served tremendously for such activities as our Junior Prom and Senior Ball. Roger's pleasing disposition and attitude toward our class in general have made him a great classmate to have. This year completes Roger’s twelfth yean as a student in North Stomngton and way back in grammar school, he acquired the nickname of Spoolie because of his extremely curly hair.
