Throughout her years of high school Marty has been an honor student. In her sophomore year, she was chosen to be a member of the National Honor Society and continued to become treasurer in her senior year. Marty’s many activities include her fine job as the editor of the Lion’s Tale, Photography editor of The Leo, and her ten years in 4-H, during which she represented Connecticut many times. We are sure Marty's career in home economics will be as successful as her high school years have been. MARTHA WILLIAMS BROWN Marty College PETER ROBERT BUEHLER Pete General Pete's friendly disposition and genial attitude has made him a well-liked member of the senior class. He enjoyed taking part in intramural sports with classmates and underclassmen. Pete keeps our class lively with his facetious comments and lively antics. Pete plans to increase his knowledge by becoming a Navy service man.

Jim, our tall ana quiet classmate, is one whom we seldom hear much from. Although quiet around others, he has displayed enthusiasm as a participant in both junior varsity and intramural sports. Jim's experience in shop classes will be a great asset to him as he seeks to become a machinist. JAMES WILLIAM ARZIMARSKI Ozzie General SAMUEL ALBERT BLIVEN Sam” General Sam has been extremely active in athletics throughout high school. In both his junior and senior years, he was on the cross country team and in his senior year he was a basketball manager. Sam is always helpful on our many dances including those of the Junior Prom and the Senior Ball. After graduating Sam would like to attend college in Hartford.

Dawn has acquired many friends throughout her years at Wheeler. Her ability to work diligently and to help people has aided our class a great deal. Dawn served as the chairman of our Junior Prom and also received the C.A.W.D.C. Award in her junior year. Her many achievements throughout her senior year include her tremendous help in the magazine drive, her fine job as Editor of the Leo, and her receiving of the D.A.R. Award. Dawn's accomplishments in her future years are sure to be as outstanding as those in high school. DAWN EILEEN CARLSON Dawn” College Gary may seem quiet but he is actually just the opposite and he has a great sense of humour. Interested in sports, he was baseball manager in his junior and senior years and basketball manager in his senior year. Gary loves cars, especially Corvettes, and he also enjoys slot car racing.
