GAIL ELEANOR SISSON Sis Gail has been quite active in school affairs during her high school years. She has excelled as a member of the girls' varsity basketball and softball teams, thus receiving the sportsmanship award in her freshman year. Because of her enthusiastic participation in class affairs, she was a member of the Student Council as a freshman and now also as a senior. Without her help as decoration chairman for the Junior Prom and class vice president, we wouldn't have been able to complete our junior year successfully. We wish the best of luck to this girl who was recently chosen as her class' favorite girl. KENNETH ORIN STEDMAN Ken- Ken, who loves just about any kind of sport, participated in both volleyball and basketball intermurals. He also has shown an interest in water skiing and baseball. He has been very active in many class activities and was a great help with the Junior Prom. This year Ken is photography editor of the Leo '66 . The meetings would certainly have been dull without him. Our best wishes go to this friendly fellow! 29

PATRICIA LEE ROBINSON Pat During her years at Wheeler High, Pat has proven to be one of our most valuable players on the girls' basketball and softball teams. In her junior and senior years, she was especially active in decorating for the Junior Prom and Senior Ball. She will always be remembered for her ’’comic film strips in Home Economics class. We all wish Pat happiness in her future endeavors and hope she will always remember her years at Wheeler. ANNE LOUISE RUTTY Anne Anne, who joined our class two years ago, previously attended Fitch Senior High School in Groton, Connecticut. Her quiet but friendly manner has won her many friends here at Wheeler. She was one of the top saleswomen in the magazine drive this year, earning much money for our class. Her main interests are riding horses and drawing. Anne's fine horsemanship has won her many prizes. We are certain that her likeable personality will always aid in her future years to be spent at college. 28

CYNTHIA JEAN VANCE Cindy' Before Cindy joined us in the ninth grade, she was a freshman representative on the Student Council at Jane Macon Junior High School in Brunswick, Georgia. Here at Wheeler, she has been a very active member of our class. Cindy has worked diligently on the decoration committees for our Sophomore Semi-formal and Junior Prom, and was also a lovely attendant of the Prom Court. She is presently vice-president of our class and is most valuable as layout editor of the Leo '66 . To Cindy go our warmest wishes for a successful future. DORAINE ANNE VAN LEW Snowshoes Doraine's artistic talents are well known to everyone in the Class of '66. Her creative ability has been well displayed throughout her high school years, especially as decoration chairman of the Semi-formal and art editor of the Leo '66 . Doraine is also musically talented and was a member of Wheeler's chorus, the Styletones , for three years. Her afterschool hours are spent mainly on 4-H work and in horseback riding. One will frequently see drawings of horses on many of her papers and book-covers. Doraine’s lively personality will always be remembered by her classmates. 30
