MINDY LEBOVITZ Mindy, through his ardent interest in the sea and surfing, has acquired the pet name The Surfer”. He developed this interest while living in California four years ago, and brought it with him when he moved to North Stonington. Min also has an exceptional interest in sports which he has extended through extracurricular activities at school. He was a member of the Sports Club in his freshman and sophomore years, and in his junior year Mindy became assistant manager to the Basketball Team. The Class of '65 will always remember Mindy for his happy and nonchalant character. Min General ROSANN AYER LECHNER Rosann College Rosann is one of the members of the class who began school in North Stonington and twelve years later approaches graduation from Wheeler. The last four years have been busy ones for her. In her sophomore year, she was not only a member, but also treasurer, of the Student Council. As chairman of the decorating committee for our Junior Prom, Rosann showed her creative ability by selecting appropriate decorations. Her blithe smile and good-natured personality will undoubtedly assure her much happiness in the years to come. 25

Carol's twelve years of education at theNorth Stonington Schools have made her well known among her classmates. She is always friendly and full of fun with a bright outlook on life. During her junior year she was an active participant in our Christmas play. In her freshman year Carol was elected president of the Camera Club. Throughout the four high school years she served on many committees for various other activities. We are certain that her effusive spirit and likeable personality will aid in her future happiness and success. CAROL ANN KARJALA 'Carol Commercial BEVERLY ANN KLEWIN Bev Commercial Although Bev appears to be quiet and shy, among her friends she plays a major role in creating levity. Bev has always been known for her enthusiasm and participation in making our class activities a success. Due to this genuine interest in her class, she can be found at most school affairs. Asa member of the Guitar Club in her freshman year she also took part in various assembly programs. Bev's social ability and serenity we are confident will lead her to success and happiness. 24

Paulette, a most friendly and cheery person and one of our hardest working classmates, has contributed a good deal of her time and energy to class affairs. In addition to class activities, Paulette was a member of the Girls' Basketball Team in her junior year and helped it to victory. Her energetic mannerisms assure her of success in the future. Paulette has acquired all of her education at the North Stonington Schools.
