ROMELIA B. BAYER ENGLISH JOYCE L. CAPALBO HOME ECONOMICS The University of Rhode Island is Miss Capalbo's Alma Mater from which she received a B.S. degree in Home Economics. This is her first year as a member of the Wheeler High School faculty. She is noted for her example of proper etiquette, tidy kitchen, and friendliness to everyone. This is Mr. Brann's first year as a member of Wheeler High's faculty. He was graduated from Farmington State Teacher's College in Farmington, Maine, with a B.S. degree in Education. His conviviality among the students and faculty is most definitely valued. RONALD E. BRANN HISTORY Mrs. Bayer was graduated from Central Connecticut State College with a B.S. degree. She is well-known for her smile and ability to get along with everyone. As advisor to the cheering squad, Mrs. Bayer has aided in showing the girls the importance of sportsmanship and school spirit and she is frequently seen jumping off the bleachers as she excitedly cheers for the boys at the basketball games. 9

ROSS R. AIELLO INDUSTRIAL ARTS This is Mr. Aiello's first year of teaching at Wheeler. He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State College with a B.S. degree in Education. He has also studied at Mitchell Junior College. Mr. Aiello's warm personality and congenial mannerisms have contributed much to Wheeler this year. BERNICE L. ARMSTRONG MATH Miss Armstrong is a graduate of Central Connecticut State College with a B.S. degree in Math and Science. During her three years at Wheeler, she has captured the admiration of the student body with sincerity, interest toward the individual, willingness to perform beyond the call of duty, and a deep dedication to her profession. JON P. BAYER PHYSICAL EDUCATION Mr. Bayer, a graduate of Springfield College with a B.S. degree in Physical Education, became our coach two years ago. His untiring efforts and ceaseless patience with both his classes and his basketball team make him a valued member of Wheeler High's faculty. 8

JERRY S. COPSINIS MATH - PHYSICS Mr. Copsinis is a graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut with a B. A. degree in Math. His genuine interest in Wheeler High and his unusual sense of humor contribute to his popularity with students and faculty alike. RAYMOND H. CROSBY ENGLISH This is Mr. Crosby's third year as a teacher at Wheeler. He graduated from Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts, with a B.S. degree in English. This year, as junior varsity coach, he inspired within his players the same confidence which he inspires within his students. We give our heartiest thanks to him for all he has done for us in the past. ISABELL J. DALZELL SCIENCE - JUNIOR BUSINESS TRAINING This is Miss Dalzell's first year as a member of the faculty here at Wheeler. She was graduated from the State University of New York in Albany, New York, with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology. Evidence of a terrific sense of humor and sincere personality have been of essential significance to the students at Wheeler. 10
