CATHERINE J. CORNELL Judy has been Wheeler-ite reporter, feature editor, and a member of the staff. She was active on the many committees the class had for its various activities and sang on the chorus for one year. Besides participating in school events Judy was in outside clubs, also, such as4-H. WAYNE L. DENISON Outside of school Wayne has been an active member of the 4-H club. In school he has been co-editor and reporter for the school paper. During his high school years, Wayne has been a participant in the magazine drive. In his senior year he was elected vice-president of his class. RICHARD R. FOURNIER Rich was a member of the baseball and cross country teams during his freshman year, at the end of which he was awarded a letter and certificate. In his junior year he was awarded a certificate for third highest salesman in the Curtis magazine drive. He was also junior class vice-president and was elected president of the senior class.

LEONARD E. BILL During his high school career, Len has been outstanding in sports. He has been a participant in varsity basketball and baseball. ALLEN A. COATS Allen has participated in baseball (received a letter award) and basketball during his years at Wheeler. In his junior year Allen was class president. He received Curtis awards (certificates of achievement) for outstanding sales on the magazine drive during his junior and senior years. He also received basketball certificates. JOSEPH R. CASWELL Joe has participated in the magazine drive during his years at Wheeler. He has received awards of achievement from the magazine drive. In his freshman year Joe was the most valuable hitter on the baseball team. He was a member of the sports club, gun club, and chef's club. Joe has also participated in cross country and basketball.

DARLENE R. HOWE Darlene has been treasurer of our class for four years and treasurer of the Leo 63. She served as vice-president for the Future Homemakers of America Club in her junior year. Darlene was also a chorus member for three years. PETER C. GRUFSTEDT During his years at Wheeler, Pete has been a member of the gun club and guitar club. In his sophomore year, Pete was given the second highest salesman award in the magazine drive. Pete has also been a participant in baseball and basketball. RICHARD S. HENRY Rick went away to South Lancaster Academy, Massachusetts, for his first two years of high school. During his enrollment there he participated in baseball and track and was a member of the school band for two years. When Rick came back to Wheeler in his junior year, he joined our band and played the sax.
