He has proved his athletic ability on the basketball court for the past four years. Bob hopes to become a mechanic after his hitch in the service. Serious and good looking, Phil is our vice-president this year. In his spare time Phil enjoys fixing cars. He is an enthusiastic and loyal supporter of all our class events. Because of his endeavors as subscription manager on the yearbook staff, we feel that Phil will make an excellent career in excavation. Tall and good looking, Dale is our class president. His enthusiasm and willingness to work have gained him many friends. In his spare time Dale enjoys working on his car. Rugged Dale has been a competent member of the basketball team for four years. Although he is undecided about a career, we know he will do well in whatever he chooses. Attractive Patty has been our treasurer for the past two years. Her pleasant and sincere manner has cheered many of her classmates. Patty could be found at most of the school’s activities. In her spare time she enjoys playing up-to-date records, dancing and sewing. After graduation she hopes to become a nurse. We wish the very best to this ambitious classmate. RICHARD DOUGLAS SWAIN Shy but friendly, Dick enjoys the out-of-doors. Hunting, fishing and trapping are among his list of interests. In his spare time Dick enjoys picking on his guitar. Those who have heard him play in homeroom will agree he has done an excellent job at teaching himself. This asset will surely be of use to Dick when he enters the service. Brown hair, blue-eyed, Walt has been a prominent basketball player for the past four years. Dating and cars are his main interests. Whenever one needed an excuse for not doing homework, he naturally went to Walt. Plans for the future are turned towards the Navy.
