CLIFTON AVERY LEE Cliff General Rifle Club 1; Chef Club 3. One would hardly know quiet Cliff is around until you get him to talk about cars. His interest in cars led to his job at a local service station. In his spare time Clifton enjoys working on cars and stock car races. After Clifton has fulfilled his military obligations, he hopes to make auto mechanics his career. Brown hair, brown-eyed Ray has done a lot for his class throughout his four years at Wheeler. The class of '62 and the faculty will never forget that Ray was our photographer for The Leo '62. In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, especially hunting. ROBERT HORACE HOLMAN Bob College Wheeler-ite 1; Wash. Club 4; Rifle Club 1; Garden Club 3; Boys' Chorus 1, 2. Bob, a quiet, carefree classmate, has gained many lifelong friends at Wheeler. He can usually be found talking with the boys about cars - his favorite pastime. After graduation he hopes to pursue a career as an Air Force mechanic. Quiet and intelligent are two adjectives that best describe Joyce. For four years Joyce has kept her classmates constantly guessing what is on her mind. Her warm and sincere manner makes it a pleasure to be with her. Joyce's ambition in life is to become a housewife, to live and bring up her children on a farm. Tall and good looking, Dale is our class president. His enthusiasm and willingness to work have gained him many friends. In his spare time Dale enjoys working on his car. Rugged Dale has been a competent member of the basketball team for four years. Although he is undecided about a career, we know he will do well in whatever he chooses. Attractive Patty has been our treasurer for the past two years. Her pleasant and sincere manner has cheered many of her classmates. Patty could be found at most of the school’s activities. In her spare time she enjoys playing up-to-date records, dancing and sewing. After graduation she hopes to become a nurse. We wish the very best to this ambitious classmate.
