Class Prophecy The year of 1966. Who should I happen to bump into yesterday but Chief Ayrton, head of the False Alarm Fire Department, flying down Main Street. Judy informed me that Beanie Benson has been diligently blowing up chemistry labs with her experiments. I spotted John Holman at the prescription counter of the general store hurridly taking Professor Buff Brown’s new discovery, Energy-in-a-Bite tablets, to calm his engineering dilemmas. Continuing along I saw the former Mary Cooke ducking into the Diaper Automat owned by Mr. G. V. Kavanagh. As I strolled by reading the paper I had picked up at Betti's News Stand, my eyes fell upon an interesting item concerning Ginny's new book. How to Fix Dented Fenders. I noticed that Hill Brothers, Inc., set a new world speed record of 999. 9 m. p. h. in test-driving their latest junk model. On the front page was a picture of the very successful Senator Bassett from Connecticut, riding in his pink Continental driven by Chauffeur Schultz. Mr. Bassett has left his office duties to his competent secretary, Cecile. My prediction came true, for I found that Ann's love for animals still holds. Her well-known pet shop was just around the comer. While I was browsing around the shop, in walked light-weight champ West. She told me that her Manager Grace Miner has just invested $10,000 in the new Alley-Cat Race Track. The well-known artist, Lulu Ellis, was last reported to have been dashing around the globe with her paint brush on the Danko Airlines in a Modem Strato-Streak manned by the daring Pilot, Grace Schoonman. Jarad Platt was last seen in 1956 when he disappeared into the unknown realms.
