Kobo-Hop: On February p, 19?k the Sophomore Class sponsored a Specialty record dance which they cflled the Hobo-Hop. Prizes were £iven to the two best hobos. They were Barbara Loven and Richard Hewins. Honorable mentions were given to Ann Gerrish and George McGowan. Blue Koon Pro h .e danced to the music of the Ledyard Grange Orchestra at the Blue hoon From. It was one of the biggest events of the year, ana was pub on by the Sophomore Class of Wheeler on November 10, 19p3 ft the Elementary School. The aucitorium kas c corated with blue and white streamers, with a large blue moon on the stageT Pictures were taken and everybody had a gooo time. Populerit' - Dance: The Meadow Lake hairy I4.-H Club, had a very successful Popularity Gance' on February 19, 195k at the Elementary School. Ann Gerrish was crowned hiss Popularity with Wayne ’Walters a hr. Populsrity. Jamboree : The Magazine Jamboree helc on April 1 was a big success. Dancing was enjoyed most of the evening with the Liinth grade providing the entertainment. The lucky winners of the ni ht w-re Virginia Teague, who received • 20, and Jacquelyn Taylor who receiveu a camera set. The winners of the magazine drive were awarded tneir prizes. 12
