The boys varsity volleyball team ended their season with a 3-6 record. Experience was one of the strong points the team didn't have. Rich Pluimer, the only returning letter- man, was voted MVP by his team- mates. The most improved player was Chris Moss and keeping the team together was Brian Byers, receiving the catalyst award. The junior varsity team had an excellent season posting a 7'1 record. It was good enough to be conference champs. Taking part in this parade was our very own Wheeler High School Marching Band and Pom Pon girls. While the band was marching on the sun soaked streets of Valpo and playing Go to Rio , the Pom Pon girls where getting cooled off from the heat by get- ting el dunkedn in their dunking machine.
