The annual Ditch Day festivities began by meeting at Joanne Nail1ieux's at 10, from there it was on to the Dunes. Although it was rather chilly, a few braved the water. Others spent time climbing the dunes or throwing frisbees. All in all, everyone seemed to have a good time and no cases of pneumonia were reported. On March 28, thirty six seniors boarded a Continen- tal bus. Their destination: Washington D,C.. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Belsaas and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dick accompa- nied the seniors on their trip.as chaperones. While in Washington, friendly tour guide, Bob Bates showed the points of interest the city has to offer. Philadelphia was the next scheduled stop, leaving Bob Bates behind. Atour of that city was taken and then time was granted for shop- ing. Soon it was time to board the bus again but this time it was heading home. After almost four days of bus riding, most of the crowd were glad to be home. 'y ,J K My . 60 :'. , 7 512.1 'IT k:L W he Vi, VI' : K W 'L .
