Wheeler's roundballers had only one problem this year-- they couldn't get ahead on the scoreboard. They kept up a steady diet of losing 16 games out of 20. They also ended up last in the conference by losing to all five opposing county' schools. But there was one moment of brightness in the schedule when the team beat Kouts in the county tourney to go on and face Hebron in the finals .
