Wheeler cap tures its third county title in cross-country. The Bearcat harriers made it another fine season in cross -country. They placed second in the round robin held at V. U. , and first in the county meet held at Forest Park. The team was coached by Dave Stealy. Wayne pushes hard to get a good place in the county meet. Although the Bear - cats had one of the county's leading hit- ters in Tom Peabody, . 409, their effort to go somewhere struck out as they ended up in the cellar. They played nine games this season and Won only three. The team was coached by Al Bradford. 25 Fine effort, but still Bearcats strike out.
