MASS PIHM J Jeannie was yell leader in her high school years Now she's the one who deserves the cheers. In personality and charm she rated an A . I'm sure you will agree that she's O. K. Francis is known for stealing a few snoozes In study hall, history class, or wherever he chooses In bookkeeping class he did fairly well, But what he will be is hard to tell. Mitzie Marak is nice and tall But she apparently doesn't mind it at all. Her hair is pretty and always in stylei She always wears a great big smile. Who should come next, I'm sure everyone knows For he follows Jean C. wherever she goes. In sports he is super and lives in fame, .Tames of Dubie is his name. As Ruby Wilson she made a hit For JoAnn is known for her frolic and wit. She is happy, contented, carefree, and gay, And is ready for fun any day. On Commencement night, coming down the aisle You are sure to see a great big smile. I don't think you will have to use tact To help you spot this lad called Jack. Not a care in this world to worry this lad For he's slow, easy going, and seldom'sad. Koeppen's clothes are many and are always in style, To inherit them would be something worth while. Last, but not least in this line of fame Is a dark haired lad, Barney by name. A constant friend and companion was he To our Tom Marak and good Old Charlie. Mrs. Ackerman, our sponsor, was able and true As she shared our failures and achievements, too. She was friendly, congenial, and ready for fun As she so ably guided each one. We bid farewell, dear Wheeler High The class of '5O must say good-bye. Your cherished memories will bind each heart, As we may soon drift far apart. 32

MASS PIIEM For the start of this poem you'll want to hear Of the dear, happy days in the bygone year. And to end it is the Class of fifty The years of which were mighty nifty. In history and government Joanne can't be beat, As our Ass't Editor, she's all reet. In studying ability she rates pretty high At first glance she seems serious, but oh my! Next comes a tall lad with dark, wavy hair, Who has a clever, sophisticated air. He was elected most popular this year, But plumbing seems to be Charlie's career. Next is a blonde who is fond of fun, As our gossip editor she rates an A-1. Ambition--sitting upon the boss's knee. Now, Helen! Could it be ? At a basketball game, coming down Each time he shoots he's sure to score, In athletics he aids the bruised and lame, You guessed it, Melvin is his name. Next comes Avis, our little lass Who loves to giggle in shorthand class. She is comical and full of fun And can amuse almost anyone. A man of many inches, and every inch .Tim will nicely fit into any tall girl's plan, A dignified role he was asked to play, But he is far from dignified any day. His personality and hairdo is supreme-- We all agree that Tom's sure keen. He dates a different girl wherever he goes And is smartly dressed from his head to his toes. Mathematics and Irene seem to agree For she likes bookkeeping and geometry. In her high school years she played her role well I know you will agree she surely is swell. For his variety of pictures, Alvin is noted, As our class photographer he was voted. Photography seems to be his ambition And we know he will try to fulfill his mission. the floor a man, 31 g
