heeler Count H1gh School 1973 - The end of the Vietnam War, the release of POW's, the Watergate scandal, Skylab, the Energy Crisis, skyrocketing food prices, discontent Americans . . . Wheeler County was affected by all these things in one way or another, but the educational process con- tinued. At Wheeler County High School, we, the stu- dents, were daily confronted with the often grim reali- ties of society, and realized that we will soon be in the positions of responsibility. We present the i974 Echo, a reflection of WCHS students learning to think and create, learning to express ourselves openly and imaginatively, learning to accept what we must and to revise what we believe we should, learning to work together, learning to enioy life as energetic, intelligent young people.
