The A -team ended up their 9 game season with a 2-7 record. The B -team ended up their season with an impressive 5-4 record. Hockey, Indoor Track Build for Next Season The hockey team made a poor showing in its first season, but did have a few outstanding wins. The team played in the West Suburban Hockey League and the Suburban High School Hockey Association and so had a heavy sche- dule. While the Varsity Indoor Track Team did not win any meets during the 1974 season, they did get in some great practice for the outdoor season. The team took seventh place at the conference meet. The Varsity started out strong by winning the first game by a score of 3-1 over Batavia. The team then hit a dry spell but came back to defeat Na- perville, Wheaton North, Ridgewood, and St. Francis. The team lost close games to Lake Park and Glenbard North. The final season rec- ord forthe Wolverines was 5-19. Paul Res- ler and Bill lVlcDaniel were named to the Hon- orable lVlention All-Conference squad.
