Playing in the Regional Championship against Wheaton North the Tigers lost their final game of the season in the last few seconds of the sudden-death third overtime period. This gave the team a record of 7-7-2 for the season. Although this final loss seemed disappointing, the soccer team can take pride in their victory over l7th ranked Addison Trail and their tie with top-ten ranked Naperville Central. This team also defeated perenially powerful Glenbrook North for the first time in Wheaton CentraI's history-. Junior Varsity finished their season with a 2-6 record and are expected to aid next year's Varsity team immensely.

Under the direction of Coach McClure, twenty-one freshman improved their skills immensely and had great fun throughout the season. Their final record was 6-7 and 3. They showed consistency as well as determination throughout the season. proven by the fact that their scores showed neither a great losing streak nor winning streak as well as three tie games. Many of the players should be great assets to the sophomore squad next season. 30
