SCHCOL ACTIVITIES The Student Conference, made up of representatives from all four classes, sponsors many activities. The school dances include the Homecoming Dance, Christmas Dance and VV Dance, which hon- ors W.C.H.S.'s lettermen. All are promoted, planned and decorated under the direction of conference members. The bookstore conveniently sup- plies the student body with every- thing from combs to carbon paper. Being open both before and after school, it finds W.C.l-l.S. stude-nts and faculty constant customers. A week in March is set aside as A.F.S. Week. A fund-raising cam- paign for the American Field Serv- ice, which sponsors the exchange student program, results in competi- tion within the classes. tw :,ss.s.,,,A, w.,15 What would you like? ALUMNI WITH STORYBOOK THEME During The pre-game acTiviTies, We'll lace 'Em Up was announced as The winning slogan of The sophomore TioaT. The seniors ran a close second wiTh Break 'Em. The iuniors came in Third, followed by The freshmen. This year There were many club TioaTs in The TesTiviTies. Judie Fox, head cheerleader, was chosen queen of our sTorybook land. AT The dance SaTurday nighT, Brian GranT, capTain of The TooTball Team, was crowned king. King Brian Gram enioys a dance wiTh Queen Judie Fox. AlThough The Tigers exhibiTed l-oTs of spiriT and good playing, They were senT To a hearT-breaking i3-T2 defeaT aT The hands of Proviso WesT.
