We say thank you with all of our hearts, Mr. Horsley. The almost unduplicated string of championships, the lead- ership of the football conference, the great name in the an- nals of sport, are all secondary to our admiration for you as a teacher and friend. It is not often that a school is so long blessed with a teacher in sports who so perfectly combined the qualities of manliness, clean play, and success. Every boy who ever played on your teams has a very large spot in his heart for you . . . and so do all of us. Dedication Some people talk a lot to gain attention, while others in a quiet, pleasant way command our hearts and minds. The Class of 1956 are pleased to dedicate this annual to a man who in the short years he has been here has gained the respect and love of all who have been privileged to know him. He has aided Mrs. Vining in conducting the Student Conference with un- ceasing patience and unfaltering wisdom.
